Aim and objectives of the publication

The aim of the publication is to highlight the results of scientific research in the field of information technologies and electronics, to promote the development of theoretical and applied foundations of radio engineering, electronics, telecommunications, information and measurement technologies, automation and cybersecurity, as well as to ensure effective scientific exchange between researchers, academic and teaching staff and specialists in the field.

Main objectives of the publication:

  • publication of original scientific articles containing new research results within the cluster «Information technologies and electronics»;
  • coverage of modern achievements in the field of electronics, radio engineering, information and communication and measurement technologies;
  • promotion of implementation of scientific research results into practice, in particular in engineering systems and information technologies;
  • ensuring peer review of scientific materials in accordance with international standards of academic integrity;
  • integration of Ukrainian science into the international scientific space;
  • support of interdisciplinary research and development of innovative directions in the field;
  • creation of a platform for exchange of scientific ideas between researchers, teachers and higher education applicants;
  • improvement of the quality of training of scientific personnel through approbation of research results.

Field and scope

Taking into account the changes in the list of fields of knowledge and specialties approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1021 dated 30.08.2024 and the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 56 dated 19.01.2026, the editorial board carries out alignment of the subject matter of the publication with the new classification (cluster Information technologies and electronics).

The scope of the publication covers the following specialties:

Open access policy

The collection «Radiotekhnika» adheres to the principles of open access (Open Access) and provides free, immediate and unrestricted access to full texts of scientific publications. All journal materials are available without restrictions for reading, downloading, copying, distribution and linking to full texts, provided proper citation of the source.

The journal supports international principles of open science, in particular the provisions of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). Access to materials is provided through the official website of the journal on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Journal archives are open and available without embargo.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right to publish their works under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license. Information on financial conditions is provided in the section Information on fees and charges.

Information on fees and charges

Information on fees for processing and publication of articles determines the conditions for financing the editorial and publishing process, including costs for preparation, peer review, editorial processing, layout, publication and support of open access to scientific materials.

All articles published in the all-Ukrainian interdepartmental scientific and technical collection «Radiotekhnika» are open access and freely available on the Internet immediately after publication.

Publication cost
For publication of an article in the collection «Radiotekhnika» the author pays an editorial fee in the amount of 80 UAH per page (or another established tariff depending on the volume of the article).

Conditions for exemption from payment
Applicants of the third level of higher education (doctoral/PhD students) of state-funded form of study are exempt from any payment (fees) for processing, peer review and/or publication of articles in case of submission of a single-author work (without co-authors).

Important:

  • payment is made only after successful peer review and acceptance of the article for publication;
  • payment information and details are sent to the author by e-mail;
  • confirmation of payment (electronic copy of the payment document) must be provided to the editorial office;
  • payment does not affect peer review results and publication decisions.

Archiving and long-term preservation policy

The journal «Radiotekhnika» ensures long-term preservation and continuous availability of published materials through the use of modern digital and traditional archiving means.

Electronic versions of articles are stored on the official website of the journal, which operates on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform that supports long-term preservation mechanisms of scientific content.

To ensure reliable digital archiving, the journal uses distributed preservation systems, in particular LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which guarantee backup and recovery of data in case of loss.

Journal materials are also stored in the institutional repository of Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics (ElAr KhNURE), which provides additional open access and long-term preservation.

In case of printed issues, mandatory copies are transferred to leading libraries of Ukraine in accordance with current legislation, which ensures additional physical archiving.

Indexing and abstracting

The journal is indexed in Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, presented in Google Scholar, ICI World of Journals and the national citation database Open Ukrainian Citation Index.

All articles published in the journal «Radiotekhnika» are licensed under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).

This license allows free use, distribution, reproduction and adaptation of materials in any form, provided proper citation of authors and source.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

Submission of an article to the journal means that the author confirms:
– the work is original and does not violate copyright of third parties;
– the material has not been previously published and is not under consideration in other publications;
– the author agrees with the terms of open access and licensing.
